The Great Debate

Friends,

After careful consideration, new terms have been implemented by the Epistemological Contractors in order to help describe the classification system in the emerging interdisciplinary experiment known as the Digital Humanities.

If you are a Humanist and are forced to do things digitally in order to remain academically viable, you are a Digital Humanist.

If you are a Technologist (the new Academic term for computer programmers) and are forced to do things within the Humanities to remain academically viable you are a Human Digitalist.

If you are a robot that creates art, you are a Digital Human.

Please write these down and spread the word (s) by using them in your publications. We have also decided that the word Incognito can be used adjectivally: "Incognituitous."

Example:

The digital humanist placed an apple logo sticker over his Dell laptop emblem and entered Global Village Coffee incognituitously.
